Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yarlpanam (CCIY) facilitates awareness raising workshops on quality food and hygiene practices for food handling institutions in the Northern Province in coordination with Provincial Department of Health Service.
Such comprehensive workshops highlight the importance of best hygiene practices to be followed under the instruction given in SLS 143. The workshop aims to increase awareness and understanding on the required minimum certifications and standards to sustain the business in competitive markets.
Furthermore, CCIY does testing facilities such as water test through water board, product test through Palmyrah Research Institute (PRI).
